OPPORTUNITY DISCOVERY

DEP started with opportunity discovery session. Participants were asked to identify problems around them that they would want to solve. Each one wrote their problem on a pink sticky note and presented it to the class. Interesting problems came out. Mostly were related to Deaf problems on education, learning and comprehension, communication with hearing people, and access to information.
​
​Afterwards, they were asked to write down on a blue sticky note their passions or the things that they love doing and are good at (such as, hobbies and skills), and share it to the class as these can be utilised in finding/creating a solution to the problems they have identified.
